Full-Stack AI Engineer

About the role

Join a fast‑moving AI team within a leading Melbourne events and exhibitions company. As a Full‑Stack AI Engineer you will build and ship production‑ready web features that integrate large language models and generative media APIs. The role is focused on delivering polished products, not research.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy full‑stack features for multiple live products.
• Integrate LLM, image, video and 3D generative APIs into reliable production services.
• Work daily with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate development.
• Own feature end‑to‑end, collaborating with a lead engineer and a teammate.
• Maintain high code quality and product performance in an on‑site, collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping full‑stack applications to production.
• Comfortable using AI coding agents as a core part of the workflow.
• Ability to work quickly in a small team with high ownership.
• Strong product mindset and ability to communicate with non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Modern React‑based framework (React, Next.js, etc.).
• SQL/PostgreSQL backend development.
• Integration of LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Experience with generative image/video or 3D media APIs (a plus).
• Familiarity with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor.
