Fuel Truck Driver

About the role

The Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project is seeking an experienced Fuel Truck Driver to support construction activities. You will be responsible for the safe delivery, handling and distribution of diesel and other fuels across multiple site locations, ensuring continuous operation of plant, equipment and vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a fuel truck to refuel plant, equipment and vehicles on‑site.
• Deliver diesel and other fuels to various locations within the project site.
• Perform daily pre‑start checks and routine vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate fuel logs, delivery records and required documentation.
• Comply with dangerous goods and fuel handling regulations at all times.
• Assist with general site logistics and support tasks as needed.
• Uphold high safety and environmental standards throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Valid HR or HC driver’s licence (minimum).
• Dangerous Goods licence (DG) is mandatory.
• Construction White Card.
• Previous experience in fuel delivery or civil construction preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work in remote conditions.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical and police checks.
