FSO Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an FSO Engineer to deliver deskside and OSS technical support for a range of end‑user devices and infrastructure at our Perth site. The role involves installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware, operating systems and applications while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, desk telephony and AV equipment.
• Install, configure and test operating systems (Windows 10/11) and peripheral devices according to standards.
• Deploy and redeploy OS images, manage virtual desktop environments and perform capacity planning.
• Monitor device health, perform routine technology health checks and remediate issues.
• Deliver remote and on‑site “Smart Hands” services, including mobile device management and firmware updates.
• Support Code Blue emergency safety feature testing and validation for vehicle‑installed systems.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently, meet service level agreements and follow established processes.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, drivers, operating systems and client applications.

Required skills

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• OS imaging and deployment on legacy hardware.
• Virtual desktop infrastructure management.
• Device health monitoring and remediation (DEX).
• Mobile device management, including persona management and firmware updates.
• Smart Hands on‑site technical support.
• Code Blue emergency safety feature testing.
