Front Office Receptionist - Lake Bonney

About the role

G'day Group, which owns Discovery Parks, Resorts and the G'day Rewards loyalty program, is hiring a Front Office Receptionist for its Lake Bonney park in Barmera, South Australia. The park sits on the edge of the lake in a relaxed, riverside setting and offers a friendly team environment and good work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of customer service and act as the welcoming face of the park.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Use the park booking system to make reservations and manage guest accounts.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to track the readiness of accommodation.
• Supply guests with information about the property and local areas of interest.
• Complete day-to-day office administration.
• Maintain good relationships with park teams, residents and guests.

Required profile

• Previous front office experience in the hospitality industry.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and evenings as needed.
• Current driver's licence is essential.
• The role may involve manual handling of up to 20 kg, kneeling and squatting, handling chemicals and using machinery.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, including knowledge of RMS or a comparable reservation booking system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
