About the role
We are looking for a skilled APS6 Front End Designer/Developer to join the Web and Digital Services team. The role involves creating user‑friendly, accessible and visually appealing front‑end solutions that meet Australian Government website policies.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop front‑end interfaces for government digital services.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance with Australian Government website standards.
- Collaborate with senior developers, publishers, content writers, graphic designers and AV teams.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective front‑end solutions.
Required profile
- Experience at APS6 level or equivalent seniority.
- Strong interest in good design and research‑driven development.
- Excellent communication skills for gathering user needs.
- Ability to work remotely from any location in Australia.
