Front-End Design Architect (Perth)

About the role

DKO is looking for a Front-End Design Architect to join its Perth studio. You will work on high‑profile multi‑residential and mixed‑use projects, shaping concepts from feasibility through design development.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to feasibility, concept design and design development phases.
• Develop innovative architectural solutions for multi‑residential and mixed‑use schemes.
• Prepare presentation material, design narratives and client presentations.
• Collaborate with project leaders, consultants and internal design teams.
• Participate in design workshops, client meetings and project reviews.
• Assist in coordinating planning and development approval submissions.
• Support delivery of high‑quality outcomes aligned with DKO’s design standards.
• Maintain a strong understanding of local planning controls and design requirements.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified Architect or Graduate Architect.
• Experience on Australian multi‑residential projects (essential).
• Strong front‑end design capability with exposure to concept design and design development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for architecture, urban design and creating high‑quality places.

Required skills

• ArchiCAD (preferred).
