Front Desk Operator / Motel Receptionist (Casual or Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented Front Desk Operator / Motel Receptionist to join our small team at Airport International Motel in Hamilton, Brisbane. The role can be taken on a casual or full‑time basis, with flexible shifts including weekends, and offers a family‑friendly work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out efficiently, handling payments and issuing invoices.
• Answer telephone calls and manage online booking enquiries.
• Respond to email inquiries received via the website.
• Reconcile daily cash and EFTPOS transactions.
• Prepare tax invoices and customer statements upon departure.
• Set up and pack down conference rooms as required.

Required profile

• Well‑presented, punctual and reliable.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a pleasant phone manner.
• Ability to work autonomously within a small team.
• Legal right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (basic formulas) and Outlook.
• Experience using reservation software, preferably RMS9+.
