Freelance Junior Designer – Flexible Maternity Cover

About the role

Polyglot Group is seeking a Freelance Junior Designer to cover a six‑month maternity leave for its marketing team. This ad‑hoc contract offers flexible, project‑based work where you can jump in as new briefs arrive and contribute creative ideas from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Create campaign assets, social media visuals, and digital ads.
• Design and update landing pages using Unbounce.
• Support website visual updates and develop marketing collateral such as brochures, one‑pagers, and decks.
• Assist with light video editing and motion graphics, primarily via Canva.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute to concepts, mood boards, and visual directions.

Required profile

• Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and strong eye for detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and handling quick turnarounds.
• Reliable and responsive freelancer able to work independently after onboarding.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva (core design tool).
• Experience using Unbounce or other landing‑page builders.
• Basic video editing and animation skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
