Founding Engineer

About the role
Join a venture‑backed startup as the founding engineer and lead the creation of a new enterprise‑scale product. You will work directly with senior leadership and subject‑matter experts, owning the technical vision from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Define the system architecture and select the technology stack.
- Build and ship the first production version, then iterate based on real‑world usage.
- Establish security, data‑integrity, and reliability standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the engineering team as the product scales.
Required profile
- Strong full‑stack engineer with end‑to‑end product delivery experience.
- Comfortable owning work from problem definition through deployment.
- Experience delivering AI‑enabled features.
- Solid grounding in modern web frameworks, relational databases, and API design.
- High standards for security, data integrity, and reliability.
- Self‑directed, low‑ego, and energized by building.
