Founding Doctor – Lead Clinical Strategy at Wake Health

About the role

We are seeking a visionary founding doctor to shape Wake Health’s clinical strategy and oversee the launch of our women‑focused health platform. This role will evolve from a contract position to full‑time as the company moves from development to market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and clinical governance for platform development and the telehealth clinic.
• Represent Wake Health in external partnerships, media, and social channels.
• Recruit, build, and lead a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Stay abreast of medical research and drive innovative care strategies.
• Lead post‑launch clinical operations, governance, research and innovation.

Required profile

• Qualified medical practitioner with experience in women’s health or primary care.
• Proven ability to work in start‑up environments and lead clinical teams.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder and public engagement.
• Willingness to work remotely across Australia and adapt to flexible hours.
