Founding Doctor – Clinical Lead for Women's Health Startup

About the role

Wake Health is seeking an exceptional founding doctor to shape clinical delivery for a women‑focused health platform. This remote, contract‑to‑full‑time position will evolve from early‑stage medical oversight to leading a growing clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and clinical governance for platform development and telehealth services.
• Represent Wake Health externally, including media, social channels and partnership negotiations.
• Recruit, mentor and build a multidisciplinary clinical team (GPs, dietitians, psychologists, nurses).
• Stay abreast of medical research and drive innovative care strategies.
• Lead post‑launch clinical operations, governance, research and innovation.

Required profile

• Medical degree with current registration in Australia.
• Significant experience in women’s health, primary care or telehealth.
• Proven ability to lead clinical teams and manage partnerships.
• Strong communication skills for external representation.
