Forensic Analyst – Internal Audit & Risk Advisory

About the role

William Buck is seeking a motivated Forensic Analyst to join its Risk & Advisory team in Perth. The role splits time between forensic services and internal audit, offering exposure to investigations, disputes, governance reviews, risk assessments and audit engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with forensic investigations, internal audits and risk advisory projects.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Review controls, governance frameworks and business processes.
• Prepare working papers, reports and client deliverables.
• Support planning, testing, research and reporting activities.
• Develop client relationships and deliver high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to provide practical recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in forensic accounting, internal audit or external audit.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) or working towards completion.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
