Food Services Assistant, Part-Time

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a part-time Food Services Assistant in Chirnside Park. The role suits someone who wants to see residents enjoy good food and is passionate about aged care. Shifts run either 07:00 to 17:00 or 15:00 to 19:00.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals suited to each person
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of the shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care experience is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
