Food Service Assistant

About the role

The Food Service Assistant supports daily food operations at OASIS facilities, serving USG, GOA, contracted employees, and business travelers. This onsite role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment while assisting kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks in and around the dining facility, including floor polishing and carpet steam cleaning.
• Assist cooks with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of customer service for all diners.
• Ensure compliance with site environmental health and safety requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low‑stock supplies to the Head Chef.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

Required profile

• Certificate in Hospitality.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Australian or US citizenship.
• At least 18 years of age and fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Ability to obtain and retain a Top‑Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) or TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Commitment to follow all EHS and quality program requirements.
