Food & Beverage Team Leader

About the role

The Food & Beverage Team Leader will oversee daily operations across all F&B outlets of a five‑star Pullman hotel, ensuring premium service standards for restaurant, bar, in‑room dining, and conference & events areas.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the F&B team.
• Maintain 5‑star service quality across restaurant, bar, conference, events and in‑room dining.
• Motivate, train and lead staff to exceed guest expectations.
• Communicate feedback and operational updates to senior F&B leadership.
• Address guest concerns promptly and manage special requests.
• Collaborate with the culinary team on menu implementation and delivery.
• Monitor rosters, staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of F&B experience, preferably in a premium hotel environment.
• Strong passion for hospitality and high‑quality food and beverage experiences.
• Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop engaged teams.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to provide an Australian National Police Clearance on offer.

• Staff rostering and scheduling.
• Health and safety compliance and food‑handling best practices.
• Inventory management and ordering.
• WSET qualification (asset).
• RSA certification in South Australia (RP badge is a bonus).
