Food & Beverage Attendant - Part-Time

About the role

Ibis Adelaide, a purpose-built brand hotel opened in 2014 with 311 rooms, a restaurant and bar on level one and a conference space, is looking for a part-time Food & Beverage Attendant. The role delivers friendly and efficient food and beverage service that meets guests' expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and follow a 5-star service sequence
• Maximise sales through knowledge of products and suggestive selling
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy using hygienic food service techniques
• Answer the telephone promptly and use product knowledge to maximise sales
• Take responsibility for your own area, section and station

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience as a food and beverage server; a la carte service, bar and banquet experience is valued but not essential
• Valid RSA in South Australia
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
• Suggestive selling and product knowledge
