Food & Beverage Attendant (Lounge Runner)

About the role

Join the First‑Class Lounge team at Sydney International Airport, delivering memorable service experiences for Qantas Lounge guests. This full‑time position involves a mix of food, beverage and barista duties in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clear tables, maintain clean service areas and provide a‑la‑carte service.
• Serve beverages efficiently using tray service, ensuring safe delivery to guests.
• Handle tray clearing of glassware, cutlery, plates and crockery while balancing speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house, culinary and stores teams.
• Uphold Qantas brand standards, hygiene for food handling and workplace safety.

Required profile

• Friendly, customer‑focused attitude with a drive for total satisfaction.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience.
• Full working rights in Australia and flexibility for AM/PM shifts, including weekends.
• High standard of grooming and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Barista and basic bar service skills (as developed on‑the‑job).
• Ability to carry and balance multiple‑item trays quickly and safely.
