Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the team at Mercure Melbourne La Trobe Street and deliver friendly, professional service in our Foundry Kitchen & Bar. As a Food & Beverage Attendant you will ensure every guest enjoys a seamless dining and bar experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient service to all guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Set up, clear and reset tables to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menu items, promotions and specials.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety and workplace health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience (preferred but not essential).
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• RSA certification (required).
