Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

As a Food and Beverage Attendant at Peppers Waymouth, you will be the first point of contact for guests, guiding them through the restaurant’s menu and creating memorable dining experiences. You will combine product knowledge with a friendly approach to recommend dishes and beverages, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and turn each guest interaction into a memorable experience.
• Provide personalized food and beverage suggestions and upsell in a way that enhances the guest’s enjoyment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to answer guest queries confidently.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure seamless service.
• Set up, service, and pack service areas meticulously, keeping the work environment tidy.
• Handle challenges positively, turning obstacles into opportunities for excellent service.

Required profile

• Proven customer‑service experience in the hospitality sector.
• Proficiency in food & beverage protocols, including table service, beverage service, event service and coffee crafting.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or equivalent for the region.
• Passion for engaging with guests and collaborating within a diverse team.
