Fixed-term Lecturer – Transdisciplinary School

About the role

This is a fixed‑term, education‑focused academic position at the Transdisciplinary School of UTS. The successful candidate will primarily teach a new pan‑university Transdisciplinary Electives program and may also support the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation, Diploma of Innovation, and short‑form learning, while contributing to the school’s transdisciplinary research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative transdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Teach courses within the Transdisciplinary Electives program and related programmes as needed.
• Conduct and publish transdisciplinary research aligned with the school’s themes.
• Collaborate with industry and education partners on research and innovation projects.
• Engage in university service and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
• Research focus in transdisciplinary methods or one of the school’s designated themes, with a track record of publications or industry outcomes.
• Evidence of successful collaboration and networking with education and industry stakeholders.
• PhD conferred, or near completion, required for Level B appointment.
