First Nations Employee Journey Expert – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The First Nations Employee Journey Expert will join ANZ’s First Nations Talent & Culture team to drive initiatives that improve representation, retention and cultural capability of First Nations staff across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver programs that increase recruitment, retention, development and engagement of First Nations employees.
• Develop and implement cultural learning, competency and safety initiatives from need identification through to delivery.
• Engage regularly with First Nations employees and candidates to capture sentiment and experience.
• Review, update or create policies that support First Nations employment and cultural capability.
• Collect, analyse and report data to measure the impact of initiatives and policy changes.
• Support internal and external stakeholder engagement to position ANZ as an employer of choice for First Nations talent.
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture colleagues to embed actions, update processes and drive change.

Required profile

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (identified role).
• Proven experience implementing people‑focused initiatives or change programmes within a business.
• Strong understanding of First Nations cultures and the ability to build relationships with Indigenous communities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
