Financial Management Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the Group Financial Controller and department leaders, you will play a pivotal, hands‑on role in the financial management of Levantine Hill Estate. Based at the Head Office in Melbourne CBD, you will support the entire business – from vineyard and winery operations to accommodation, restaurant, events and tourism.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports and analyse performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, re‑forecasting and develop dashboards and reporting tools for operational leaders.
• Partner with managers across hospitality, accommodation, events and wine sales to provide financial guidance, modelling and analysis that drive commercial decisions.
• Educate stakeholders to improve financial understanding and accountability.
• Monitor revenue, labour costs, margins and operational expenditure; support cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital management.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and support initiatives to improve profitability and reporting accuracy.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records, reconciliations and general‑ledger accounts in collaboration with on‑shore and offshore finance teams.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with a hands‑on approach to finance.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to partner with operational leaders and influence commercial decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
