Financial Controller – Operations

About the role

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will lead Levande's Operations Finance function, supporting a national retirement‑living portfolio and partnering with operational leaders across Australia. This role combines day‑to‑day finance leadership with strategic initiatives to improve systems, controls and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of finance professionals responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance across retirement villages.
• Oversee governance, retirement‑village compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
• Strengthen financial controls and enhance insight delivery to the business.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven experience in financial control, operational finance and reporting within complex, multi‑site environments.
• Background in retirement living, property, hospitality, aged‑care or similarly regulated industries is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated senior leadership and ability to influence senior finance and operational stakeholders.
