Financial Controller

About the role

Ofload is seeking a Financial Controller to become a cornerstone hire as the company scales. Reporting to the VP of Finance and working within a 20‑person finance team, you will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, controls, and accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close process.
• Design and maintain a rigorous control environment.
• Ensure technical accounting excellence across all transactions.
• Manage complex financial activities such as debt facilities, mergers & acquisitions, and post‑deal integration.
• Collaborate closely with FP&A and other finance functions to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting within a high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of control frameworks and technical accounting standards.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
