Financial Controller

About the role

EHPlabs is seeking a senior Financial Controller to own the integrity of group financial reporting across multiple international entities. You will lead month‑end close, consolidations, statutory reporting and act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team in a fast‑growing, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end month, quarter and year‑end close for entities in Australia, the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore.
• Lead group consolidations, multi‑currency reporting and Board‑level financial statements.
• Drive AI‑enabled automation and process optimisation across the finance function.
• Oversee external audits and maintain relationships with Big 4 auditors in multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure global tax compliance, statutory reporting and transfer‑pricing requirements.
• Manage treasury activities, cash‑flow forecasting, banking relationships and lender reporting.
• Partner with commercial leaders to provide financial insights for budgeting and strategic decisions.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management as the business scales.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with significant post‑qualification experience.
• Big 4 training and proven group controllership experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment.
• Deep technical expertise in consolidation, inventory, intercompany and acquisition accounting.
• Strong understanding of FMCG business models, especially inventory and trade spend.
• Experience acting as primary contact for statutory audits with Big 4 firms.
• Broad statutory compliance experience across multiple tax regimes.
