Financial Controller

About the role

Prudence Rehab is seeking a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to own the finance function and transform financial insight into strategic business performance. You will partner directly with the Executive team to shift from historical reporting to forward‑looking, insight‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve the hybrid accounting model and raise accounting standards and governance.
• Develop sophisticated forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling capabilities.
• Provide General Managers and Product Owners with direct, expert financial guidance.
• Influence strategy, growth and operational decisions across the organisation.
• Manage audits and coordinate with external partners.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp and solutions‑focused.
• Strong communicator able to influence non‑financial stakeholders.
• Naturally curious, always asking why behind the numbers.
• High attention to detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
• Hands‑on leader who can operate strategically when needed.

Required skills

• CPA or CA qualification with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–10+ years of finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems capability.
• Experience managing audits and working with external partners.
• Bonus: exposure to automation or process improvement; experience in operational or workforce‑driven businesses.
