Financial Controller

About the role

Heidi Health is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial operations across its global entities. You will lead month‑end and year‑end close, ensure robust financial controls, and support rapid growth in a high‑growth SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end close for all Heidi entities, driving accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, establishing standards and a culture of ownership.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment across multi‑entity, multi‑currency structures, including reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Produce timely monthly management reports, financial statements, and variance analysis for leadership and the board.
• Manage statutory reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in all jurisdictions.
• Oversee tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance) with external advisers.
• Partner with AR Operations, FP&A, and FinOps teams to ensure clean data flow and improve ERP workflows.
• Support audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors.

Required profile

• Proven experience running an end‑to‑end accounting function in a high‑growth SaaS or technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain financial controls across multiple entities and currencies.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing an accounting team.
• Hands‑on experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
