Financial Controller

About the role

CMC Markets ANZ is looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Controller to join its Finance team. You will provide strong financial governance, deliver timely and insightful reporting, and support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial governance, control and statutory compliance for the ANZ region.
• Produce accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and regulatory reports.
• Manage treasury activities and oversee outsourced Accounts Payable operations.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in FP&A, Tax, HR, Compliance, Risk and Treasury.
• Support the development and implementation of key business initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, both local and offshore.
• Occasionally work on public holidays to meet critical reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and detail‑oriented finance professional.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
