About the role
The Financial Controller will report to the Head of Finance and lead financial control, reporting, compliance and governance across the group. This hands‑on position is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
- Manage financial controls, compliance, governance and audit activities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
- Provide commercial insights across projects and business units.
- Support strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions and integration.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
- Mentor and develop finance team capability.
Required profile
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader in project‑based, contracting, infrastructure, construction or services environments.
- Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting capability.
- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision‑making.
- Exposure to growth, transformation or acquisition environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands‑on leadership style.
