Financial Analyst (FP&A) – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Financial Analyst to join our high‑performing Finance team in Brisbane. You will work closely with the FP&A Manager and senior leaders to provide insightful analysis that drives smarter business decisions across our national organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver meaningful financial insights that help leaders understand performance and make informed decisions.
• Partner with teams to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Monitor results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide commercially‑focused recommendations.
• Produce regular management reports and contribute to executive and Board reporting packs.
• Support month‑end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with statutory reporting obligations and maintain compliance.
• Track capital expenditure and cash flow, providing visibility over investment performance.
• Prepare financial models, dashboards and presentations that communicate key metrics.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to deliver financial support and performance insights.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Financial Analyst, FP&A or a similar finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• Experience using large ERP systems.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a passion for working with data.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded.
