Financial Accountant – Multi‑Entity Business

About the role

Join a well‑established, multi‑entity organisation as a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will initially own the accounting for one entity and gradually expand across the group, contributing to a growing finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close for the allocated entity, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and GL reconciliations.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations and reporting.
• Support consolidation of additional entities, handling intercompany reconciliations and group reporting.
• Assist with statutory reporting, audit requirements and compliance obligations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insight and support.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives as the business scales.

Required profile

• Commercially minded Financial Accountant with experience in a similar‑sized commercial business or from a Big 4/mid‑tier accounting firm.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a long‑tenured finance team.
