Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant will own foundational financial accounting, rigorous compliance and essential financial controls for a multi‑entity retail group. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will collaborate across operational divisions to deliver accurate financial governance that supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end ledger closures, including complex intercompany eliminations and multi‑entity consolidations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements for year‑end reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison for annual statutory audit requirements and audit coordination.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness across all entities.
• Maintain month‑end ledger integrity and support statutory obligations.

• Ability to manage month‑end and year‑end processes and regulatory compliance.
