Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the finance team at our Eagle Farm head office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in month‑end close, financial reporting and driving process improvements across a fast‑growing global manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities including schedules, balance‑sheet reconciliations, lease accounting, pre‑payments and accruals.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, capitalise assets, and apply depreciation in line with policy.
• Upload reconciliation support into OneStream and assist with cash‑flow forecasting and payment management.
• Support internal and external audit processes, including interim and year‑end audits.
• Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax schedules, declarations and draft returns.
• Develop and maintain finance processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with global and local policies.
• Contribute data for Australian Bureau of Statistics surveys and uphold a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent reconciliation abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills across all business levels.

• Advanced Excel for analysis and reporting
