Finance Manager – Manufacturing Division

About the role

This senior finance leadership position is based in Milton, Brisbane and reports directly to senior leadership and the General Manager of a key manufacturing division. You will act as a trusted commercial partner across manufacturing, operations, sales and logistics, providing strategic and operational insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, financial reporting and statutory compliance activities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and detailed management reporting packs.
• Drive costing, inventory accounting and production accounting processes.
• Provide commercial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Manage sales order, purchase order and invoicing processes.
• Review capital expenditure requests and support investment decisions.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Partner with operational leaders across manufacturing, logistics and sales.
• Maintain strong internal controls, governance and SOX compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and efficiency gains.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG or engineering environment.
• Strong management accounting and business partnering capability.
• Expertise in standard costing, inventory accounting and production reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams.
