Finance Manager

About the role

As the Finance Manager for Ayers Rock Resort, you will be a key member of the finance leadership team overseeing day‑to‑day financial operations at one of Australia’s most iconic tourism destinations. You will partner closely with operational leaders to drive performance, strengthen governance and provide commercial insights that shape strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for the resort, ensuring robust financial governance, compliance and accurate reporting.
• Manage the full month‑end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, analysis and financial statements.
• Partner with operational managers to deliver commercial insights and support financial performance improvement.
• Develop and mentor the on‑site finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Champion finance system enhancements, process automation and business improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Commercially‑minded finance professional with experience in hospitality or tourism environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
• Commitment to high standards of governance, compliance and ethical conduct.
