FIFO Power Station Operator – Electrical

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a FIFO Power Station Operator to monitor, operate, maintain and repair power generation equipment at customer sites. This role involves travelling directly to the site and working on‑site to ensure reliable power supply for our major client.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Repair and maintain power generation equipment, following all safety protocols.
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, labour hours and expenses, and report to the Field Delivery Manager.
• Maintain high client satisfaction through exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician with a WA‑A Grade Electrical License.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• 1–3 years’ experience working with power generation equipment.
• Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong safety focus.
