Field Technician

About the role

You will join Armaguard’s dedicated field team, delivering maintenance and support for a range of ATM and cash‑payment technologies across Australia. After an eight‑week training programme, you will be equipped with a mobile phone, full tool kit and vehicle to work on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault‑find and repair cash management systems and ATMs.
• Attend multiple client sites to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Commission, configure and test new devices before they go live.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with support from a specialist technical team.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about hands‑on technical work and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence for travelling between sites.
• Willingness to undergo background, medical and drug/alcohol checks.

Required skills

• Computer skills.
• Electro‑mechanical experience (advantageous).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
