Field Supervisor

About the role

Decon Corporation is looking for an experienced Field Supervisor to join its Rydalmere office in New South Wales. You will lead construction work crews, ensure high‑quality service delivery and drive successful project outcomes for our telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise field employees and subcontractors installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining telecom equipment.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing tools and resources to excel.
• Maintain high‑quality service delivery and efficient project completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with peer supervisors and project managers to identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications construction with a strong understanding of civil and infrastructure projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of Telstra and NBN fibre and copper networks, including Pit & Pipe infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate teams and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong commitment to safety and proven adherence to OHS regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer and systems experience.
