Field Service Technician (Electrician)

About the role

KONE is seeking a mechanically‑minded Field Service Technician (Electrician) to join its Doors team in Sydney. You will service, maintain and install automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across a range of building types.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates.
• Respond to callouts and breakdowns, providing timely repairs.
• Perform installation and commissioning activities for new equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with KONE policies, health and safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the local region.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Experience in doors or industrial maintenance (highly regarded).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality and excellent customer service.

• Preventative maintenance of electromechanical systems.

• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical components.
