Field Service Co-ordinator

About the role

Porter Plant, a leader in the plant and equipment dry hire industry, is looking for a customer-focused, highly motivated person to join its growing team as Field Service Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the role covers South Australia and is an additional position added to the existing experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule field service mechanics
• Respond to internal and external customer service calls
• Prioritise repairs and services
• Source and manage subcontractors
• Process and manage open work orders
• Review and act on weekly safety check sheets
• Carry out quality checks
• Assist the Victorian and Tasmanian Field Service Coordinators

Required profile

• Industry experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proven people management capabilities
• Current driver's licence

Required skills

• Proficiency in the use of computer packages
