Field Sales Representative - 12 Month Contract

About the role

Mars is hiring a Field Sales Representative for a 12-month maternity leave contract, covering the Gold Coast territory. You will work with grocery customers across Coles, Woolworths and Metcash, driving sales through optimal distribution and physical availability of Mars brands in prime in-store locations, and supporting display quality and category growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the NSV growth and key KPIs within your territory.
• Build strong relationships with key customers.
• Drive optimal points of distribution and physical availability of Mars brands.
• Ensure high-quality displays across all physical locations and outlets.
• Negotiate and implement incremental permanent and temporary locations using stock control expertise and supply chain procedures.
• Apply category and shopper principles in customer interactions.
• Direct and hold merchandising representatives accountable for customer activations.
• Analyse KPI reporting to find opportunities in stores and drive incremental sales growth.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of creative problem solving and delivering results.
• Driven, self-reliant and resilient, able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Able to prioritise competing demands and work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Excel.
