Feed Allocator

About the role

JBS Australia is looking for a Feed Allocator for its Riverina feedlot, situated just outside Yanco between Leeton and Narrandera in southern NSW. The feedlot has a capacity of 53,333 head and is part of an integrated farming, feedlot and processing facility where cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant. The role focuses on daily feed allocation and delivery so that operational targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Daily feed allocation and feed bunk calling
• Focus on feed allocation and feed delivery to meet operational targets
• Maintain bunk hygiene
• Operate front-end loaders and other machinery, and drive feed trucks as required
• Comply with JBS Australia policies, including WHS, HR, QA, animal welfare and environmental obligations

Required profile

• Experience in feed allocation, mixing and feed delivery
• Able to work well independently and within a team
• Previous experience operating and maintaining machinery, including trucks, is an advantage
• Initiative, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Basic computer literacy
