Fashion Designer – Menswear (Fleece, Graphics, Tees & Knits)

About the role

Cotton On is seeking a creative, commercially‑driven Designer to join the Menswear team, focusing on fleece, graphics, tees and knits. You will shape the brand’s future by turning trends, customer insights and brand direction into compelling product stories.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop products that align with brand DNA, customer needs and commercial targets.
• Translate trend and buying direction into wearable, on‑trend pieces across the assigned categories.
• Own the design journey from concept through sample, ensuring accuracy, quality and fit.
• Create CADs, tech packs and design specifications to communicate your vision.
• Partner closely with Buying, Trend and Production teams to align ranges and meet delivery timelines.
• Use performance insights and feedback to continuously refine and improve product offerings.

Required profile

• Qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Designer with a strong eye for trend‑led product.
• Strong hand‑sketching ability or experience drawing CADs.
• Ability to lead and develop a reporting team.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, materials and development processes.
• High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent collaboration skills with Buying, Production and Planning.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.

• Adobe Illustrator (CAD creation).
• Hand sketching.
• Tech pack development.
