Factory Activity Manager

About the role

Mars Pet Nutrition is looking for a Factory Activity Manager for its Wodonga manufacturing hub, which delivers pet care products across Australia, New Zealand and global markets. This is a full-time, highly connected role reporting to the S&OP+ and PMO Director, working across Operations, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Quality to turn business priorities into action.

Key responsibilities

• Own the factory execution of innovation, value leadership, business continuity, compliance and affiliate projects from concept to implementation.
• Build and manage project timelines, keeping requirements, dependencies, critical paths and resource needs clear.
• Bring together teams across functions and partner with Market Activity Managers and stakeholders across ANZ and affiliate markets.
• Identify risks early, run factory risk assessments and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Use Mars project and planning frameworks (QuEST, QES, S&OP+) to support delivery and decision-making.
• Manage launch readiness, including specifications, workflows and launch data for artwork and operations.
• Capture project learnings and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience in project, activity or process management, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain or a similar complex operational environment.
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Science or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and organisational skills, able to handle competing priorities.
