External Auditor

About the role

PwC Australia is seeking experienced External Auditors to join its audit practice. In this role you will help clients improve financial performance, understand commercial challenges, and deliver high‑quality audit and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct external audits, financial statement assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Analyse complex business issues and develop effective audit strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape audit methodologies and drive innovation.
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour while building trust with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end audits and delivering statutory reports for large private or listed organisations.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence audit strategies across teams.
• Deep knowledge of internal controls, including assessment, design, and documentation.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues and building effective internal relationships.
