Export Team Leader – Customer Service & Trade Compliance

About the role

You will lead the export function for a well‑established manufacturing business within a global group, overseeing customer service and worldwide export activities. The role requires close liaison with customers, border agencies and internal teams to ensure smooth customs compliance and efficient export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day customer service and export operations, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate logistics providers, arrange export certifications and commissions.
• Oversee customs procedures and support pricing enquiries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for trade compliance, customs and export control procedures and trade finance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an export role, preferably with supervisory responsibility.
• Proven depth of knowledge in global export customs and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
