Experienced Oncology Pharmacist - St. Vincent's Private Hospital Northside

About the role

Slade Pharmacy Northside, part of Icon Oncology Group, is seeking an experienced Day Oncology Pharmacist for its permanent, full-time position at Slade Pharmacy Northside, located within St. Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. The role contributes to patient-centred cancer care across clinical pharmacy, outpatient services and dispensary operations, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Relocation assistance is offered to help candidates move to Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced oncology pharmacy services across clinical and dispensary functions with minimal supervision.
• Apply sound clinical judgement to a complex caseload, using an evidence-based approach to optimise patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and give high-level clinical advice on treatment decisions.
• Supervise, mentor and coach pharmacy staff, especially Pharmacy Technicians, and foster a strong learning culture.
• Act as a key point of expertise for oncology pharmacy practice within the team.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA general registration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in oncology pharmacy; prior oncology pharmacy experience is required.
• Well-developed clinical knowledge and confidence in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
• A proactive approach to mentoring and coaching.
