Experienced Graduate Architect – Sydney

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Graduate Architect to join a well‑established architectural practice in Sydney, working on significant Defence and design‑focused projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, coordinate and deliver major projects, especially within the Australian Defence sector.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, presentations and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings and stakeholder presentations.
• Resolve architectural, technical and construction issues and ensure compliance with Australian codes and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years post‑graduate architectural experience.
• Experience on Australian Defence projects and ability to work in secure Defence environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Full Australian citizenship and eligibility for required security clearance.

Required skills

• Strong architectural design and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Australian building codes, regulations and construction requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, clients and stakeholders across project stages.
• Experience preparing detailed architectural drawings and presentation material.
