About the role

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will drive the growth of our Executive Connect division across Western Australia. This senior position focuses on building trusted relationships, generating new business, and delivering executive search solutions for top‑level clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Boards, CEOs, Managing Directors and Executive Leadership Teams.
• Generate new business opportunities and develop a personal client portfolio.
• Manage executive search assignments from brief through to successful placement.
• Identify and engage exceptional executive and senior leadership talent.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic hiring advice to clients.
• Represent Counsel Connect at industry events and professional networks.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and direction of the Executive Connect business.

Required profile

• Experienced recruiter, executive search professional or senior business development specialist with strong commercial acumen.
• Established network across the WA market, especially in energy & resources, utilities, construction, infrastructure or not‑for‑profit sectors.
• Proven ability to generate new business and win retained or exclusive search assignments.
• Confidence engaging with Boards, CEOs, C‑suite executives and senior decision‑makers.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Consultative, professional approach with a reputation for integrity and delivering exceptional outcomes.
