Executive General Manager, People & Culture

About the role

The Executive General Manager, People & Culture will lead the end‑to‑end people function for a large, multi‑site Australian human services organisation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will shape organisational capability, drive performance and champion cultural transformation in a fast‑paced, complex environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full people agenda, including business partnering, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, and organisational development.
• Lead employee and industrial relations, change communications, culture initiatives, workforce planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to embed people strategies that support operational excellence.
• Drive cultural and organisational change across geographically dispersed sites.
• Ensure people, culture and compliance remain central during periods of transformation.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience in People & Culture or HR leadership within large, service‑based organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cultural and organisational change at scale.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.
• Experience managing dispersed workforces and complex employee relations.
